City Production Screen
The City Production Screen is very important to the management of your empire. Here you set the unit which the city will produce next.
City Scroller
At the top of the screen is the City Scroller. It consists of 2 buttons and an indication of what position in your list of cities you are current viewing. To move down the list, click on the leftward arrow, to move up, click on the rightward arrow.
City Name, Name Changing
The city's name is displayed beneath the City Scroller. To the left is a "Change Name" button. Clicking this button will enable you to enter a new name for the city in the textfield that appears. Clicking the "Commit Name" button will set the name.
City Efficiency/Specialty
If playing the advanced game rules, the city's efficiency, production specialty will be displayed below the city name.
Alert Settings
In advanced games with production efficiency, you will be able to set an alert value to make you attend to the city production when the city's efficiency reaches the specified value. To set the value, first choose "No Production" as your production choice, then press on the alert checkbox and enter the desired value in the adjacent field. The value entered must be greater than the current city efficiency.
One touch will set & close
When this is checked, touching a production button other than No Production will set the production and close the screen.
Unit Production Options
Here you may select the type of production you desire for this city amongst the list of units available based on the game type and proximity to a sea square. No production is always an option. Depending on the number of columns - the turns to complete the unit and the number already in production may be displayed.
Set Production
Clicking this button will set any changes to the production build for that city, and keep the production screen open. It will only be enabled if you have made a change. The changes must be set in order to take effect.
Set Production And Close
Clicking this button will set any changes to the production build for that city, and close the production screen open. It will only be enabled if you have made a change. The changes must be set in order to take effect.
View On Map
This option will close the production screen and display the city on the map. Be aware that any changes you have not committed have not been saved yet, but can still be saved when you return to the production screen.
View Units
If the city currently hosts any units, this option will take you to the units screen for that city. You will be prompted if you wish to set any production changes.
Close
This option exits the production screen and returns you to the map.
Single/Double/Triple Column
This option changes the number of columns presented in the Unit Production Options. Note that in multi-column situations, Turns to Complete and In Production counts may not be available due to space constraints.
