Just wondering if one of the Beta testers out there with access to a Linux system could see if this works under Wine?
The software doesn't strike me as one that should cause problems for Wine (but then, who knows) and it would be great to let people on Slashdot know, when it hits the street!
Can anyone doing the Beta check it out? |

I believe EDIE runs under wine.
EDEE still uses the GDI and common controls. No MFC. Odds are good, but I do not think anyone has tried it.

I did try .. it haven't worked out.
Instalator copies files (all I think) then crashes(wine terminates with error) |

| I know someone reported having it run under WINE about 4 years ago. One of the problems with these things is the Linux platform is so varied - I have no idea what flavor operating system it was. |

KUbuntu 4.10 with WINE 1.1.42: EDIE and EDEE runs without any problem - only sound isn't available... |
